Best cafe start to a hike yet!! The breakfast was brilliant very high quality of food (especially the bacon)! And we sat outside on the terrace and the views were just divine! Could not ask for more of a breakfast stop! Am already planning my return visit. FYI - they are currently having works done so the entrance to the cafe has moved (just follow the signs) Parking is good, but you have to put your registration in at the cafe so you don't get a fine. And the max stay was 3 hours when we were there - enough time for breakfast and then a short walk to the waterfall

Friendly staff, amazing, tasty food & not the usual cafe food. I had sweet potato and black bean tacos and they were delicious. Generous portion sizes All with stunning views

Fab viewpoint on the terrace. Took 3 little doggies, for a coffee and cake, and a walk to waterfall. Great spot to stop off food, excellent service brill. Add it to your list of to do's!

An absolute treat! Our food was amazing, and all the dishes coming out from the kitchen looked and smelled really good. There is a free parking for guests and you need to register your number plates at the entrance of the cafe. Very friendly staff (always helps!). And very dog friendly cafe (indoor and outdoor), which was great for me as I could watch cute dogs while eating I have not only ticked this place off my 'to go' list but I will also be back in the future.

Superb, really, really superb. We drove to the cafe, had a wonderful breakfast and the took a short stroll to the waterfalls. The service was amazing, views fantastic, and the quality of the food was amazing - if we had walked the hill like so many others, it would have been worth the walk!

Really nice place to visit after the Hike! Food was not too bad as well! Scone was Huge and there are vegetarian options too. Had the Shashuka and wished i was reminded to add the Chorizo! Theres free parking as long as ure a customer. Oh and there was an amazing view btw too!

Loved my recent brunch date at Force Cafe! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was brilliant! Also the coffee and hot chocolate were very nice and the cafe and terrace itself were really tidy, well put together and beautiful. It can be a bit on the pricey side but it's worth it! It's also worth a short walk up to the waterfalls and surrounding paths/hikes!

We stopped at Force Cafe in Ambleside town for breakfast before heading to the Ambleside waterfall, and it was such a treat! As a scone lover, I was immediately drawn to the massive scones on display—I’ve never seen scones that huge before! At just 5, it was totally worth it, and it felt extra special. Of course, I couldn’t resist their cream tea (a favorite of mine), and we also ordered some other dishes, which you can see in the pictures. Everything was delicious, but what really stood out was the breathtaking view from the cafe with that huge scone. It’s the perfect spot for a cozy meal with stunning scenery. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!
